About Me

Society has conditioned us to think we need to behave a particular way in order to be accepted, causing us to chase the feeling of being “enough”. But what if we are enough exactly as we are, right now? My goal is to help people find their way back to who they truly are after realizing that they don’t fit into the mold society has created for them.

My journey to becoming a therapist was not conventional. I wanted to become a screenwriter, but I lived in Boston and had no connections, so I pivoted into becoming a High School English Teacher. I taught for over 6 years, but felt like I was never going to fit the mold that administrators had set in place for me. Now I am working towards opening a private practice so that I can help fellow misfits just like me find their way back to themselves.

I have a Master’s Degree in Education from UMass Boston and am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Angelo State University. Since January 2026, I have been working as a Mental Health Associate at San Marcos Treatment Center. My experience at the treatment center has taught me so much about trauma-informed care and how to respond in the event of a crisis.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This means that I believe you are the expert on your life and I will teach you healthy ways to express and process your feelings so that you can achieve clarity on what you really want for yourself.

Your identity is my priority. All people of different cultures, backgrounds, and identities are welcome here.
